Local Author Donates Book to Fannie Brown Booth Library

May 3, 2018 - Local author, Larry Enmon, donated a copy of his new book, THE BURIAL PLACE, to the Fannie Brown Booth Library on Saturday, April 28th.

Larry Enmon was born and raised in Shelby County. He is a 1970 graduate of Shelbyville High School and a 1975 graduate of San Houston State University. He worked thirty-seven years in U.S. law enforcement. He began his career as a uniform officer in the Houston Police Department before transferring to the Vice Squad. In 1981, he accepted an appointment with the U.S. Secret Service and worked both investigations and protection until retirement. He received special training from the CIA in the detection and investigation of weapons of mass destruction. Larry spent twelve years conducting terrorist investigations in the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force in Dallas.

Larry honed his writing skills for a decade and the raw, twisty, edge-of-your-seat thriller, THE BURIAL PLACE, is the result.

His debut crime mystery novel, Wormwood (U.K. title) was published by Bloodhound Books, Cambridge, England in 2017. The same novel, The Burial Place (U.S. title) was released April, 2018 by Crooked Lane Books in New York. He is represented by the Andrew Lownie Literary Agency, Ltd, London.

As a federal agent traveling around the globe with Top Secret (SCI) Clearance and a Diplomatic Passport, he was exposed to the shadowy world thriller novelist thrive in. Larry uses his first-hand experiences, and an overactive imagination, to write realistic crime/mysteries and international suspense/thrillers.
