March 15, 2022 - Self Defense America held a grappling seminar on Saturday. The seminar was held to prepare the students for a tournament to be held in Shreveport.
The kids spent 3 hours learning different grappling techniques and takedowns, such as mount and mount defense, rear naked choke and ankle picks, those in attendance were, Wyatt Foster, Jack Wagner, Benjamin Wagner, Gwen Wagner, Rudy Daugherty, Ryder Moody, Korbin Sanford and Tyler Belrose. Also in attendance demonstrating techniques were Miguel Da Cruz and Hunter Gibson. We are very proud of our students at Self Defense America and wish them success at the upcoming tournament.
The tournament will be held on June 11th with such events as sparring, grappling, chambara (padded Swords) and forms.
