Tenaha High School, Tuesday, June 18, 2019 –
On Tuesday local teams were spotted participating in summer league basketball games at Tenaha’s Special Events Center. Early action saw Shelbyville led Nacogdoches 32-31 midway through an early game but fall 56-52.
Timpson got behind 8-0 to Woden early in the next game but fought back to tie things up in the second half. Woden eventually won the contest 49-44.
Representatives from Shelbyville, Tenaha, Joaquin, Timpson, Carthage, Mount Enterprise, Gary, Nacogdoches, Henderson, and Beckville are participating in the league this summer which convenes on Tuesday and Thursday.
