Lufkin District Project Updates and Plans for Jan. 13-17

January 10, 2020 – Construction and maintenance projects are planned throughout the nine county Lufkin District for the coming week. Motorists are urged to obey all traffic control in place throughout these work zones, reduce speed and stay alert for moving equipment and workers.

“As we move into a new year, the Lufkin District continues to work on many projects throughout our nine counties,” said Rhonda Oaks, public information officer. “We urge motorists to be aware of our work zones and workers who work near the lane of traffic. Slow down and always obey whatever traffic control is in place in and near those work zones.”
