June 15, 2024 - Timpson Area Genealogy and Heritage Society is pleased to host Bill O'Neal as our speaker June 19 at 2pm in the Timpson Public Library annex. Mr. O'Neal will speak on the role of Texas in the Civil War.
Bill O'Neal taught history several decades at Panola Junior College. He has authored almost 50 books and numerous papers. Texas was privileged to have Mr. O'Neal serve 2 terms as Texas State Historian. His programs are presented with an enthusiasm that fosters in his audience a desire to learn more about our Texas heritage. The public is welcome to attend.
