Oldest Town in Texas Road Show to Honor U.S. Veterans on April 28th

April 13, 2017 - The Oldest Town in Texas Road Show returns to The Old Tobacco Warehouse in Nacogdoches at 7:30 pm on Friday, April 28, 2017!

This homegrown show has gained popularity since its inception by Kim Crisp and Stephen Pate. With performances at The PinesTheatre in Lufkin, Carthage Civic Center, The 1894 Grand Opera House in Galveston and other venues across the state, the show has made The Old Tobacco Warehouse in Nacogdoches its home venue with shows scheduled approximately every 10 -12 weeks apart.

The Branson-style variety show is hosted by Brad Maule, who starred as ‘Dr. Tony Jones’ on TV’s General Hospital for 22+ years, Three’s Company, Oprah and worked with Don Ho while living in Hawaii. Brad will MC, tell of local lore, entertain with jokes and sing some of his favorite Texas Swing numbers.

Road Show regular cast members include the producers, Kim Crisp aka “Camo Elvis” and Stephen Pate lead guitar, music director and lead vocalist. Stephen has appeared on numerous stages across Texas and on RFD TV along with the Roadshow Band. Band members include Jason Kelley “The Atomic Clock" on drums, Bo "Fist Bump" Miller on keyboards, accordion, mandolin, and vocals, Sarah Griffin Humpries on fiddle, C. D. Scull on bass, and Jan Pate as lead female vocalist.

Special guests for the April show include: Courtney Burch, Devin Horchem, Brandon Atchison and Merritt Banks.

This Show will be dedicated to all veterans and public service personnel. A group of retired Marines and their spouses will be in town for a reunion and will be in attendance. General Mike Butchko will lead in the Pledge of Allegiance. All military veterans and public service personnel will receive a 10% discount off ticket prices.
