September 10, 2015 - On September 10, 2015, Kurt Greenhouse, Field Foreman of XTO Energy, presented Dr. Joe Shannon, Vice President of Instruction, and Whitney Edens, Director of Workforce and Continuing Education with a $5,000 check for the Panola College Foundation. The $5,000 will be used to award scholarships to students studying Petroleum Technology at Panola College.
“Panola College Foundation sincerely appreciates the support and financial contributions from XTO Energy towards our Petroleum Technology students and program. We created the Petroleum Technology program to address the energy industry’s need for trained employees in and around east Texas,” said Dr. Joe Shannon. “This generous donation demonstrates XTO Energy’s commitment not only to our program, but also to our community.”
