January 19, 2025 - All Customers: Paxton simply does not have the water pressure or supply for our customers to run all their faucets through this next 3-day cold spell.
While I realize I cannot stop you from doing so, it will empty our tanks and no one will have water and many frozen pipes will be the result.
A very slow, occasional drip in each faucet is all that is needed. It is not necessary to “run” your faucets. Even this is going to lower our tanks and put us on the edge of no water.
Be sure everything outside is wrapped and covered well. Inside, open the cabinet doors where all plumbing is on an exterior wall.
Again, I realize that I cannot stop anyone from doing as they wish. But if we run out of water, there won’t even be a drip to be had.
Let’s do our best to be sparing and mindful of everyone else.
