Poultry Festival Entertainment Coming to the Stage Including New Acts

October 4, 2022 - Entertainment at the 46th East Texas Poultry Festival is proud to welcome these new acts to the stage including Dixie Rae an 11 year old East Texas Girl and The Blake Brothers Bluegrass Band form De Berry, Texas, along with some familiar entertainers. 

Thursday, October 6, at 1:30pm on the big Francis Oats stage at the East Texas Poultry Festival, Charles Delaney will be singing. Come out for some patriotic songs just before the Quilts of valor presentation honoring our Veterans and service men and women at 2pm.

Thursday night, October 6, 7.30pm on main stage of the Francis Oats tent of the East Texas poultry Festival. Danny Paul Windham and Pack of Strays2 will be picking and singing  Come on out for some new songs, old songs, some you haven’t heard and some you may not want to hear again! But it will be a fun time. Tommy Joe ‘Santana’ Peterson, from Milam Texas, lead guitar. Brent ‘MeauxCephus’ Meaux, from Jasper Texas on bass guitar! Centers own, Chris’ C-watt’ Watlington on keyboards and vocals. Keaton‘Kilowatt’ Christopher Watlington on drums! Danny Paul and Sally Paul Windham on guitar and vocals. You never know what other ‘Stray’ May show up!

Friday, Oct, 7 at 4:30pm on the Francis Oates Stage at the East Texas Poultry Festival. Dixie Rae is an 11 year old East Texas Girl who has been performing on stage since she was 8 years old! This summer she went on tour with Shawnda Rains Entertainment Group to Branson Missouri on their "Boots & Bling 2022 Branson Tour". Recently she performed on stage at the John Ritter Tribute Showcase in Carthage Tx! Her love and passion for singing is easily seen and heard. Saturday, October 8 at 3pm on the Frances Oates Stage at the East Texas Poultry Festival. The Blake Brothers Bluegrass Band from De Berry, Texas has been called the premier Bluegrass Band in the Ark-La-Tex area. Playing a Combination of Traditional Bluegrass and Bluegrass Gospel. The Band has become a favorite of many in the region! Tim Blake - Banjo and Vocals, Bruce Blake - Guitar and Vocals, Nancy Blake - Bass Fiddle, Brit Green - Mandolin and Vocals, Bernie Grappe - Fiddle, Do-Bro, Guitar and Vocals.
