October 20, 2021 - On Saturday, October 16th the Center High School Band traveled to Longview’s Lobo Stadium to compete in the UIL Region XXI Marching Contest. The band took the field at 5:15 pm and earned a first division from the judges. This is the band’s 11th consecutive 1st division at UIL Marching.
The Roughrider Band will now compete at the UIL State Military Marching Championship to be held on Tuesday, October 26th held at Pine Tree High School. This is the band’s second consecutive appearance at the UIL State Marching Contest.
Drum Majors for the band are: Aracely Perez-Gonzalez, Briana Gonzalez, and Lesly Figueroa.
