Sabine Resource Advisory Committee to Meet

May 26, 2016 - The Sabine Resource Advisory Committee will introduce new members and discuss proposed project timelines at its meeting July 14 at the Sabine National Forest Ranger’s Office in Hemphill.

The purpose of the committee is to improve collaborative relationships and to provide advice and recommendations to the U.S. Forest Service concerning projects and funding consistent with the Title II of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act.

The meeting will begin July 14 at 5 p.m. at the Sabine National Forest Ranger’s Office, 5050 State Hwy 21 East, Hemphill, TX 75948.

The meeting is open to the public and anyone wishing to make an oral statement should make a request in writing by July 8 to be scheduled on the agenda. Written comments and requests for time for oral comments must be sent to Sabine Ranger Office, Attn: Becky Nix, 5050 State Hwy 21 East, Hemphill, TX 75948 or by email to kmcooper@fs.fed.us or via facsimile to 409-625-1953.
