February 24, 2023 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 1st day of March, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Approve current Payroll.
4. District Attorney Karren Price and DPS to address the court about purchasing EDR equipment.
5. Discuss and approve a Resolution clarifying the closure of two portions of County Road 2794, containing 0.427 acres and 0.151 acres in Precinct 2 and adopting a 0.627 acre tract designated as County Road 2706, this Resolution will correct the Resolution adopted January 12. 2022.
6. Discuss, consider and approve Change Order No. 1 to amend the "Shelby County Jail Emergency Repairs Agreement" with Whitaker Plumbing, funded with American Rescue Act (ARPA) funds.
