August 19, 2022 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners' = Court will be held on the 24th day of August, 2022 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Discuss and consider the Declaration and Order Prohibiting Outdoor Burning.
4. Order November 8, 2022 General election.
5. Discuss and possibly approve Sheriff’s office to auction off 2005 - Ford (Crown Vic), 2007 – Chev, 2008 - Ford (Crown Vic) and 2011 - Ford F150 on Purplewave.
6. Discuss and possibly adopt the Emergency Action Plan for Attoyac Watershed for site 12 Dam.
7. Discuss and possibly adopt the Emergency Action Plan for Attoyac Watershed for site 9 Dam.
8. Discuss and possibly approve Watershed Maintenance funds for Attoyac Watershed.
9. Discuss and consider updating the Watershed Protection Operation and Maintenance Agreement for the Attoyac Bayou Watershed from 1965.
10. Discuss and consider assisting in the repair of Site 7 of the Attoyac Bayou Watershed.
11. Discuss and possibly approve Commissioner Pct.2 to borrow funds in the amount of $27,708.96 from the CRF fund to pay for parts to repair a road grader.
12. Discuss and possibly accept a donation of sand, rock, and oil from Robert Birdwell for the benefit of Precinct #2.
13. Discuss and possibly approve a road closure for construction of a new bridge on CR 1049 at Straw Creek with the project begin date of January 2026.
14. Discuss and possibly approve a road closure for construction of a new bridge on CR 1440 at Irish Creek with the project begin date of January 2026.
15. Discuss and possibly approve a road closure for construction of a new bridge on CR 3689 at Cypress Creek with the project begin date of January 2026.
