August 21, 2015 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on Monday the 24th day of August, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay monthly expenses.
2. Public Comments on Agenda items.
3. Approve the County Auditor to conduct audit of District Attorney Forfeiture/Seizure funds per Code of Criminal Procedure 59.06 (g).
4. Discuss and possibly renew the renegotiated contract with Innovative Office Systems for copiers and printers at a saving to the county of $45,000.00 a year.
5. Accept or reject a proposal to purchase a new vehicle for Precinct 2 Constable.
6. Consider the contract from Spillman Technologies, Inc. to purchase a software system for the Sheriff’s Department.
7. Adopt and Approve the Resolution Designating “Regional Fall Prevention Awareness Day”.
8. Appoint Election Judges for County Election Precincts for a two year term.
9. Adjourn.
