April 4, 2019 - (Flier/Registration) - The 2019 Beef & Forage Seminar will be held on Tuesday, April 9th at the Shelby County Extension Office Gym. The meal will be served at 5:30pm. The program will begin at 6pm and last until 9pm.
Speakers and topics will include: Dr. Vanessa Corriher-Olson, Forage Specialist, will be speaking on armyworm and grasshopper control along with summer annuals/weed control. Dr. Jason Banta will be speaking on external and internal parasite control, and Farm Bureau will give an agriculture legislative update.
Reservations will be $20 per person. For non-reservations, there will be a charge of $25 at the door. Please RSVP by April 4, 2019 with payment. Please make checks or money orders payable to: Youth Ag Fund.
Three general CEU’s will be offered by this program sponsored by Shelby County Farm Bureau.
