January 6, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners' Court will be held on the 10th day of January, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the minutes of December 8, 2023 Special meeting, December 13, 2023 Regular meeting, December 20, 2023 Special meeting, December 29, 2023 Special meeting, of the Shelby County Commissioner's Court.
2. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
3. Approve Officers Report.
4. Public comments on Agenda item.
5. Record the filling of the Vehicle Inventory Tax Fund audit for January.
6. Discuss and possibly authorize the County Judge to apply for the Rural Law Enforcement Grant established under Senate Bill 22 in the amount of $350,000.00.
7. Discuss and possibly authorize the County and District Prosecutor's Offices to apply for the Prosecutor's grant funds available under Senate Bill 22.
8. Discuss and possibly approve purchasing 3 Ford F150 4WD, police package through the Texas Buyboard with the purchase being with ARPA funds.
9. Adjourn.
