January 21, 2022 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 26TH day of January, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Discuss and possibly take action to repair the current sewer issue at the County Jail.
4. Discuss and possibly approve the Sheriff’s office to apply for a grant from the Office of the Governor.
5. Discuss and possibly approve the resolution relating to the Grant.
6. Recognize and record completion of required continuing education certificate for Jennifer Fountain, County Clerk.
7. Recognize and record completion of required continuing education certificate for Allison Harbison, County Judge.
8. Continuing Education Transcript for Tax Assessor-Collector Debora Riley, for evidence of compliance with Texas Property Tax Code Sec 6.231(d) no action needed.
