October 6, 2022 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 12th day of October, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the minutes of September 7, 2022 Special meeting, September 14, 2022 Regular meeting, September 21, 2022 Special meeting, September 28, 2022 Special meeting, September 30, 2022 Special meeting of the Shelby County Commissioner’s Court.
2. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
3. Approve and pay current payroll.
4. Approve Officers Report.
5. Public comments on Agenda item.
6. Constable Pct. 5 to discuss purchasing the Copsync program.
7. Take action to recognize revenue for PCT 1 CTIF 01-210 and increase the FY2023 revenue budget and expense budget in the amount of $32,400.00
8. Take action to recognize revenue for PCT 3 Purplewave equipment auction and increase the FY2023 revenue budget and expense budget in the amount of $224,496.70.
9. Discuss and possible redetermine the amount of ARPA funds each precinct will receive for Road Equipment.
10. Add to the Grantworks projects list, to expand the meeting room over at the Agrilife Extension building.
11. Add to the Grantworks project list, to renovate/replace the windows at the Historical Jail.
12. Add to the Grantworks project list, to add an HVAC system to the Historical Courthouse.
13. Discuss and possibly approve Commissioner Pct. 1 to purchase a new Caterpiller Model: 150 JOY Motor Grader from Holt Cat with ARPA funds.
14. Discuss and possibly approve Commissioner Pct.1 to purchase a new Tractor from Jarvis with ARPA funds.
15. Discuss and possibly approve Commissioner Pct. 2 to Purchase a new Diamond Boom Mower with ARPA funds.
16. Discuss and possibly approve Commissioner Pct. 2 to Purchase a new Tractor with ARPA fund.
17. Discuss and possibly approve Commissioner Pct. 3 to purchase a new 2022 John Deer Modern Predator with ARPA funds.
18. Discuss and possibly approve Commissioner Pct. 3 to purchase a Kobelco SK85CS Excavator with ARPA funds.
19. Commissioner Pct.4 to use funds from ARPA account to purchase a Pickup Truck.
20. Discuss and possibly approve Pct. 4 Commissioner to provide boom mower to brush cut the Lake Timpson spillway.
