Shelby County Commissioners’ Special Meeting, March 2 Agenda

February 25, 2022 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 2nd day of March, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:

1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.

2. Approve current payroll.

3. Public comments on Agenda item.

4. Discuss and possibly approve ordering the May 7, 2022 Constitutional Amendment Election. 

5. Discuss the Hazard Mitigation Plan Project and possibly make decision on how to move forward with updating the plan.

6. Discuss repairs and updates on County Buildings.

7. Discuss, rank, and possibly approve moving forward with certain Projects using the American Relief Plan Act of 2021.

8. Discuss and possibly approve the Cooperative Agreement between Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Shelby County.

9. Discuss and possibly take action on whether to continue the contract with DISA for drug screen compliance.

10. Discuss and possibly approve Random Drug Screen Compliance agreement with DATCS.

11. Discuss and possibly take action on fees, receipts and scheduling for historic courthouse.

12. Discuss and possibly approve the sale of a Mack Truck for Commissioner Pct 3.

13. Discuss and possibly approve a Mutual Aid Agreement from Nacogdoches Police Department and numerous surrounding agencies and Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

14. Discuss and possibly approve plumbing repairs for the other side (hallway) of the jail.

15. Sheriff’s Office to give update on the jail status.

16. Discuss and take action to approve FY2022 Budget Line Item Transfers.

17. Record Racial Profiling Report for the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office.

18. Record Racial Profiling Report for the Shelby County Constable Pct 1.

19. Record Racial Profiling Report for the Shelby County Constable Pct. 2.
