November 6, 2015 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing Body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 9th day of November, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
Approve the minutes of the October 12th, 2015 Regular Meeting and the October 26th, 2015 Special Meeting of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court.
2. Approve and pay monthly expenses.
3. Approve Officers’ Reports.
4. Public Comments on Agenda items.
5. Brittany Compton from the Texas Forest Service to discuss the Wildfire Protection Grant Program.
6. Consider applying for a $10,000.00 Grant to establish a Community Wildfire Protection Plan.
7. Consider and possibly adopt a Proclamation supporting a Community Wildfire Protection Plan.
8. Consider the request by District Attorney, Ken Florence to purchase a new software program from IDocket through Fund 49, Law Library.
9. Discuss and approve the hiring of an Emergency Management Coordinator for Shelby County.
10. Adjourn.
