September 9, 2022 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners' Court will be held on the 14th day of September, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
Executive Session
1. An Executive Session will also be held to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property if deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the governmental body in negotiations with a third person. The closed session is authorized by Texas Open Meeting Act, Texas Government Code Sec. 551.072.
2. Reopen Public meeting.
3. Discuss and possibly make a decision on issues discussed in the Executive Session.
4. Approve the minutes of August 3, 2022 Special meeting, August 10, 2022 Regular meeting, August 17, 2022 Special meeting, August 24, 2022 Special meeting, August 31, 2022 Special meeting, August 31, 2022 Public Hearing of the Shelby County Commissioner's Court.
5. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
6. Approve and pay current payroll.
7. Approve Officers Report.
8. Public comments on Agenda item.
9. Approve to advertise for bids on road maintenance materials for Shelby County.
10. Discuss the FY 2022-2023 Proposed Budget.
11. Adopt the FY 2022-2023 Proposed Budget.
12. Discuss the FY 2022-2023 Proposed Tax Rate.
13. Adopt the FY 2022-2023 Proposed Tax Rate.
14. Discuss and possibly accept the payment of Capital Credits in the amount of $21,320.98.
15. Discuss and possibly take action to disperse the Capital Credits for the FY2021.
16. Accept the donation of $3,000 Dollars to the Sheriffs Office from Tomlin Insurance.
17. Adjourn.
