Four of Shelby County’s five varsity football teams will be headed to postseason playoffs this week.
The Center Roughriders are 6-4 and they're the second seeded team from District 9 4A. They will face the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns 6-3 at Woodville High School on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 7:30 p.m.
The Joaquin Rams (8-2) will face the Shelbyville Dragons (7-3) at Henderson Lions Football Stadium on Friday, November 15, 2019. Shelbyville won a pre-district meeting between these teams by a single point. Joaquin is the second place representative of District 11 2A. Shelbyville is the third place representative of District 12. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
The Timpson Bears (5-5) will face the Groveton Indians (8-2) on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. at Rusk Eagles Stadium. Timpson is the third place representative of District 11 2A and Groveton is the second place seed from District 12.
