May 19, 2015 - Altobeli Caporali and Kylee Windham, seniors at Shelbyville High School, are recipients of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Area Go Texan Scholarship this year. Each received $18,000 to be used their first year at 
the Texas college or university of their choice.
The scholarship will renew each year for a lesser amount, giving each senior a total of $36,000 towards their college education.
The scholarship committee awarded a total of 78 scholarships throughout the state of Texas. Caporali and Windham are the first seniors from Shelbyville High School to be Rodeo Scholars.
Their scholarships will be presented to them at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Area Go Texan Scholarship Reception in Houston on May 28.
