April 14, 2026 - Parents of students living outside Shelbyville Independent School District who wish their children to attend Shelbyville Schools during the 2026-27 school year may request transfer no later than Thursday, May 21, 2026. No new transfer students will be accepted in grades 6 through 12. All transfer students who are approved will be required to pay $500 tuition annually ($1000 family maximum) to attend.
