November 15, 2023 (Flyer in Spanish) - I would like to share with you the STEAR (State of Texas Emergency Assistance Registry) login so you can register your facility or individual for those that are on hospice, home health care, or shut-ins at a residence. Please look at the attached PDF for more information.
Please make this a priority and get registered, to provide local emergency management planners and emergency responders with information related to your needs during an emergency. There is a 24-month retention record, any data older that two years is considered old data and considered not accurate, so every January you will need to log on and resubmit information.
Please on the registration form add any additional information that would be beneficial in an emergency situation. Example: The facility has a generator that will run our AC/heat or the personal resident has a generator.
