S. W. Carter Award

The S.W. Carter Award was presented to Samantha Lugo. This award was established in memory of S.W. Carter, an educator who displayed outstanding qualities of leadership, a marked respect for improving Shelbyville Independent School District and our community and shown a reverence for life.

The recipient has demonstrated the following qualities:

Walk Across Texas Award (Texas A&M AgriLife Extension) - The following students were awarded a bike: Kyla Warren and Dusty Cockrell.
