July 19, 2022 - The Timpson Area Genealogy and Heritage Society meeting for Wednesday, July 20, at 2pm, will feature Paul Smith.
Smith has graciously agreed to stand in for Robin Connell as speaker. He will share the story of the business he built, along with his family, in our town, and ultimately, how it became a national and international presence. He has recently sold Smith Sawmill and he will tell us how this may impact our area.
Paul, a 1974 graduate of Timpson High School, is married to Debra, mayor of Timpson. They are proud parents, grandparents, and great grandparents.
We invite everyone who is interested in the evolution of small towns, especially Timpson, to join us.
The meeting will be held in the Timpson Public Library annex.
