May 18, 2021 - Timpson Area Genealogy and Heritage Society (TAGHS) will resume its monthly meetings Wednesday, May 19, at 2pm. Addressing the group will be Marynell Bryant, retired journalism teacher at Sulphur Springs Texas, and experienced researcher and presenter of genealogy. A past, three term president of Texas State Genealogy Association and member of numerous lineage societies, Ms. Bryant will speak about deciphering handwriting in old Genealogy records. Most genealogists have found this a challenge.
We welcome guests, but request everyone to wear a mask.
We invite guests to visit our Genealogy room in the Timpson Public Library. We have resources of interest to those interested in heritage and Genealogy even if you do not live in Timpson.
