Tenaha Homecoming Theme "Protect Our House" Honors Emergency Responders

September 25, 2015In honor of this year's Homecoming theme, "Protect Our House", Tenaha ISD would like to honor all first responders.

A first responder is an employee of an emergency service who is likely to be among the first people to arrive at and assist at the scene of an emergency, such as an accident, natural disaster, or terrorist attack.

There will be a special spot in the Homecoming parade for all first responders to walk as a group and be honored. Those who would like to participate should meet at the Tenaha Youth Center at 1:30pm. Parade begins at 2:00pm. Please wear your uniform as a distinction of your area of expertise. Also, if you would like to ride in your emergency vehicle, that would be welcomed as well!!

Please join Tenaha ISD as we honor those of you who serve our great country at the Homecoming game against Maud Cardinals on Saturday, October 10, 2015.

Homecoming schedule: parade at 2pm, pre game at 5:30pm, and kick off at 6pm.

All alums who are planning on joining the event should contact Brenda Lucas at 936-248-5000 ext. 201.
