May 11, 2021 - Tenaha High School introduces the graduating class of 2021.
Tenaha's valedictorian of the class of 2021 is Erik Vazquez Loredo. He is the son of Blanca Loredo and Jose Vazquez. After high school, Erik plans to attend UT Tyler and pursue a degree in mechanical engineering. He shared, "I have always been a competitive person ever since I was a little kid. There is something about watching other people work that makes me want to work even harder. My main goal in life is to have the ability to retire my parents from work. You must always believe in yourself even when nobody else does."
Lourdes Perez is the salutatorian of the Class of 2021. Lourdes said, "I am proud to represent the class as Salutatorian. I am the oldest out of four children born to Alicia and Francisco Perez. I have a great passion for mathematics and music. There’s always been a strong drive in me to keep moving forward, always ready to take the next step to complete my goals." She is currently looking forward to continuing her college studies at Tyler Junior College to study Computer Engineering. Lourdes will graduate with 27 college hours, just shy 3 hours to be a college sophomore.
Congratulations graduates!
