March 10, 2016 - Letter to Tenaha ISD Parents and students
Even though the rain has subsided for now, we have decided to cancel school for tomorrow (March 11th) also.
Shelby County has issued a warning for all Shelby County residents - rivers, tributaries, and creeks are only going to worsen in terms of flooding whether it rains or not. Several Tenaha ISD bus route roads are currently at least a foot deep in some places.
We will make these days up on Wednesday, April 6 and a half day on Thursday, April 7.
As always, student safety is the primary factor in decision making.
