February 7, 2017 - Tenaha ISD Announces the Elementary Students of the Month, “Most Improved 1st Semester!”

1st Grade — Angel Lopez

“Angel has improved a great deal in reading this year. The light bulb has turned on for him and he is making great progress in his reading fluency! He is always kind and is a great listener..”

2nd Grade — MaKayla McFadden

MaKayla has improved so much in Math! She works very hard to use her strategies and justify her answers. She has become a mathematician!”

3rd Grade — Estorgio Flores

“He began the year as a non English speaking student. He is now learning to read and is speaking some English and he always has a smile!!”

4th Grade — Rheanna Richardson

“Her grades have improved along with her effort in class because she is very shy, but she has been participating more in class!”

5th Grade — Dejaylon Cooks
