February 7, 2025 - In response to a recent incident, Tenaha ISD Superintendent, Jerrod Campbell has released the following statement:
The safety of our students, staff and community continues to be at the forefront of responsibilities at Tenaha ISD. Unfortunately, an incident that may threaten the safety and security of our school stakeholders has been brought to light. Today, TISD administrators have had to deal with an incident that required intervention. On Friday, February 7, 2025, Tenaha Administrators were made aware of a student who had made a threat toward our school. The student who made the threat was immediately removed from campus and no longer has access to Tenaha ISD. Although it has been determined that there is no further threat from this student appropriate disciplinary and criminal procedures are taking place. Tenaha ISD thanks everyone involved in the reporting and investigation of this incident.
