April 23, 2019 - Congratulations to the Middle School Tiger Band for earning straight ones and a UIL Varsity Middle School Sweepstakes for the third year in a row! These are both historic firsts for the Tenaha Middle School Band! Additionally, Tenaha is the only 1C/ 2A middle school band to received a sweepstakes award at UIL this year as it is rare and difficult for small school districts to put together a middle school band for UIL. These students have been practicing for over three months, and we are all very proud of them for achieving this great honor! Many of these young tigers will soon be contributing their talents to the Tenaha High School Roarin' Band from Tigerland. The future is certainly bright for the Tenaha Band Program!
