October 10, 2025 - The Tenaha Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) is hosting fundraisers to pay for a new tank for Water Truck.
One fundraiser, the grand prize (1st) is a Savage Axis Pro 243 and Fish Fryer. Second prize is a Remington 870 12 gauge shotgun, cooler, and Binks gift card. Third is an Auto Package which includes two gas cans, jump box, cables, and miscellaneous auto products. Fifth prize is a house cleaning, multiple gift cards, and gift basket. Tickets are $20 each. The drawing will be held on December 16, 2025. Need not be present to win.
The Tenaha VFD is also hosting an exciting 50/50 raffle that offers participants a chance to win while supporting a vital community service. With tickets priced at just $1 each, it's an affordable way to contribute to the department's efforts in maintaining safety and preparedness in the community. In a 50/50 raffle, half of the funds collected from ticket sales go to a lucky winner in the form of a or multiple visa gift cards, while the other half supports the fire department's operational needs, such as equipment upgrades and training programs. Drawing will be held December 16, 2025.
The Tenaha VFD's water truck needs help. The tank is old, so in with the new, this tank will hold 3,000 gallons of water which can be essential in fighting a fire. Our goal is the cost of the tank - $35,000. Contact Mark Odom for any questions, 936-591-6982.
