December 20, 2023 - The staff and students of Center ISD would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the First Methodist Church of Center, Mary Lynn Tinkle, church members, and local volunteers in continuing the memory of Mrs. Lucretia Bussey, formerly a special education counselor with Center ISD.
It was her wish that students with disabilities have the opportunity to present a gift to their parents on Christmas morning. Mrs. Bussey funded this endeavor personally as she served the students of the district.
Center ISD sincerely appreciates the thoughtfulness and generosity of the First Methodist Church and local community members for providing this opportunity to the families of Shelby County students.
