May 25, 2026 - Center High School CTE Graphic Design students were recognized for creative efforts at Kilgore College's New Talent 26 - Emerging Talent High School Exhibition which is a juried art show by the college’s Visual Arts faculty. The exhibition showcased outstanding work created by area high school students as they transition into higher art education.
Center High School Seniors Taiya Moore, Saira Olalde, and Thoe Moo were among the 86 artist across 13 high schools in the region whose design pieces were selected to be showcased at the Anne Dean Turk Fine Arts Gallery at Kilgore College. There were 120 art/graphic design pieces submitted and only 37 were selected to be showcased in the gallery.
Congratulations goes out to Taiya Moore who placed 4th and received a $1,000 scholarship for her design piece.
The students are led by Graphic Design Teacher, Mr. Adan Ramirez.
