Tigers Fall 58-44 to Bulldogs in Boy's Area Basketball Playoff

The Tenaha Tigers varsity basketball team fell to the Garrison Bulldogs by a 58-44 score in a state playoff area elimination game played at Timpson High School, a neutral playoff site.

The game was tied 7-7 midway through the first period but GHS was able to build a 13-9 lead by the end of the first quarter. GHS led 21-17 at halftime.

The biggest swing came when the Bulldogs outscored the Tigers 19-8 during the third quarter and they led 40-25 at the beginning of the fourth stanza.

The Tigers were led by Tre Keggler with 20 points. Brad Reynolds led the Bulldogs with 24 points.

Tenaha ended the season at 12-7. Garrison moves on to the Region III Quarterfinal game next week. Their record stands at 20-2.
