November 14, 2025 - Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the governing body of the above-named City will be held on the 18th day of November at 5:30pm at Timpson City Hall, 456 Jacob Street, Timpson, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to-wit:

4. Council Items: Reports by the members of the City Council on matters not on the agenda will be made at this time. A total, not to exceed 10 minutes will be devoted to these reports.

7. Citizens Input: This time is provided for members of the public to address the city Council on items that appear within the Consent and Action Items or a matter not listed on the agenda. Each speaker is limited to 3 minutes. A Citizens Input Form may be filled out and filed with the City Secretary prior to the meeting.

Public Works
City Secretary – City Hall will be closed for Thanksgiving holiday November 27-28 and Christmas holiday December 24-26. There will not be a Regular City Council Meeting in December and the regular monthly bills will be paid as usual and presented at the January Council meeting. The city will have 2 Council Members and the Mayor seat up for the May 2, 2026 General Election. Candidate packets will be available for pick up at City Hall January 14th thru February 13th.

9. Consent Agenda: Items included under the Consent Agenda require little or no deliberation by the Council. Approval of the Consent Agenda authorizes the City Secretary to proceed with the conclusion of each item as reflected in the Minutes of this meeting.

B. Consider approval of the Financial Statements for the month of October 2025
C. Consider approval of Accounts Payable for the month of November 2025
D. Consider approval of the payment of $2,650 to Duplichain Contractors for the replacement of pillow bearings at the wastewater plant.

10. Discuss and consider: Discuss and consider taking sealed bids on the used 2005 John Deere tractor with implements and the used 1992 Case backhoe with implements. Bids will be opened and awarded at the January 20, 2026 Council meeting.
