April 2, 2025 - Due to the 99% chance of rain and storms this Saturday, the Chili Cook Off and Bake Off have been rescheduled to Saturday, April 26th. We will put out more information next week. We are still super excited about the Cook Off and the community's support.
March 28, 2025 - Bring the Heat! Timpson FFA is hosting a Chili Cook-off from 10am until 4pm on Saturday, April 5, 2025 in the Timpson Collegiate Center parking lot.
Categories include Wild Game Chili, Pork Chili, Texas Beef Chili (no beans), and Bird Chili.
Team entry fees: High School Team (4 members) $100 and Adult team (4 members) $150. All competitors must provide all of their own supplies including tables and burners.
Awards will be given for All categories, Most Colorful Team, and People's Choice. The top 3 high school teams in the Texas Beef Chili category will win cash prizes.
Vote's for People's Choice is $1 each. Cost to eat: Kids (12 and under) $3 and Adults $5. Includes a taster cup.
