Timpson’s Frontier Days was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid 19 but resumed operations this year with a streamlined event. The event held a parade, pet show and had vendors, as well as, the Chamber of Commerce’s cake sale which sold 21 cakes totaling 12,325 in money to pay for the event, and supply funds for their scholarship fund.

Mayor Debra Smith and Mrs. Marilyn Corder helped run operations and Tracy Broadway was tasked as Master of Ceremonies with speaking duties. Bethany Kaluza was this year's cake presenter hostess.

The top two cakes raised over $1000. A cake made by Marilyn Corder sold to Robert Williams sold for $1150, Williams bought other cakes as well. A cake made by Barbara Cook sold for $1025 to Hopkins Wrecker Service who also bought multiple cakes.

The operation, while slightly smaller than some previous events, was brought to the town due to the efforts of many folks throughout the county and showed a sign of promise that things are turning around and hopefully getting back to normal after the Covid outbreak.
