GYM PROCEDURES

All spectators will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and may be refused entry if deemed necessary by admittance staff.

All spectators are required to wear face coverings as described in Executive Order GA-29.

Under the current social distancing guidelines, Timpson ISD is restricted to 50% capacity, which will allow a maximum capacity of 350 attendees in the EVENT CENTER.

These numbers will be communicated to opposing teams, and seating will be strictly limited and enforced.

All spectators are expected to remain in their seat using 6 feet of social distancing between their group and other groups.

We ask that you do not sit directly in front of or behind a group already seated.

STADIUM PROCEDURES

Under the current social distancing guidelines, Timpson ISD is restricted to 50% capacity, which will allow a maximum capacity of 600 attendees in the home bleachers and 300 in the visitor bleachers. 

Tickets are required for Friday (varsity football) night games. These numbers will be communicated to opposing teams, and seating will be strictly limited and enforced.

All spectators are expected to remain in their seat using 6 feet of social distancing between their group and other groups.

We ask that you do not sit directly in front of or behind a group already seated.

AWAY GAME PROCEDURES

Please remain mindful of the reduced capacities at opponents’ facilities. Opposing teams within our district will provide a limited number of tickets to Timpson ISD for distribution to our fans. Attendees must possess this ticket upon arrival to the opposing facility to pay for admission. ADMISSION WILL BE PROHIBITED WITHOUT THIS TICKET. To ensure yourself a seat, guests should plan to arrive early to the event. All districts are required to have policies and procedures in place when hosting competitions, however these procedures may vary between districts. Please be understanding and considerate of our host’s efforts to ensure a safe environment for all participants and spectators.

TICKETS

In order to adhere to social distancing guidelines, seating for athletic contests and events will be restricted. Because of this, Timpson ISD will have a limited number of tickets for distribution. To ensure that the families of our athletes, band members, and cheerleaders are able to watch their child perform, they will be given first opportunity to purchase tickets. 

**Ticket prices will be $5.00 for ALL admission**  

Family members of Friday night participants will be able to purchase their tickets (limit of 4) on Monday, the week of a home game, at the EVENT CENTER TEAM STORE from 7:00-9:00 a.m. or from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Participants will provide Timpson ISD the name of person purchasing their family tickets and an I.D. will be required.

All remaining tickets (limit of 10 per person) will go on sale Tuesday at the EVENT CENTER from 7:00-9:00 a.m. or from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the EVENT CENTER from 7:00-9:00 a.m. or from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday at the EVENT CENTER 7:00-9:00 a.m. 

ALL TICKETS are presale tickets, NO TICKETS will be sold at the gate on Fridays. If you do not purchase a ticket by Thursday morning you will not be admitted to the game. District 10-2A passes will still be recognized for free entry, however, must be accompanied by a TIMPSON ISD-issued ticket. 

**In order to limit contact between employees and visitors, please plan to have exact change**
 **Reserved Stadium Seats will not be sold this year, due to capacity restrictions. 
Staff members will also need to obtain a ticket at this time.
** We apologize for any inconvenience this creates but please understand that we are trying to keep our students, staff and community safe.

VIRTUAL ATTENDANCE

Timpson ISD is working on plans to make these contests available via streaming.

PRESS BOX

Press box seating should follow social distancing guidelines of at least six feet between individuals when possible.

**Any visitor should have a facial covering and be prepared to have their temperature taken**

VISITING TEAMS AND PARTICIPANTS

Visiting teams and participants are required to wear face coverings as described in Executive Order GA-29.

Timpson ISD will designate a cleaned and disinfected area for teams to unload and load buses separate from fans, spectators, and other individuals not essential to the team or group. 

Visiting team /group locker rooms should be cleaned and sanitized by Timpson ISD before the visiting team arrives. Visiting teams/groups are responsible for cleaning and disinfecting equipment once it is unloaded. Schools should limit access to these facilities to only students and staff essential for the game, contest, or event. 

Before each game, contest, or event, schools should follow the screening protocols for all staff members, contractors, volunteers, sports officials, contest judges, and any individuals otherwise involved in working the event. These individuals should also self-screen.

POST-GAME PROCEDURES

Staff and students will enter and exit competition areas using designated access points and flow of traffic. There will be no interaction permitted between staff/students and fans. Upon completion of games, staff and students will exit the competition areas and be dismissed using normal facility exit procedure.
*Nobody will be allowed on the field following the contest*
*All spectators will be expected to exit the stadium after 15 minutes*

PRE/POST-GAME MEETINGS

Pregame or pre-event meetings between teams and/or sports and contest officials should be planned to allow appropriate distancing between individuals.

Pregame and post-game gestures of sportsmanship should be conducted between teams and sports and contest officials in ways planned to help reduce the risk of spread of COVID-19.

All participants should be provided with entry and exit plans for contest areas that maintain separation from non-participants and fans.

Individuals not essential to the team or group should not be given access to contest areas, performance areas, courts, or fields at all before, during, or after contests and events.

CONCESSIONS

We will be offering concession stand items for sale. Please note that social distancing and masking are expected while going to and from the area and while at the concession stands. Items may be limited due to extra precautions.

SCRIMMAGE

We will be using the same screening protocol for the scrimmage as we are using for regular games. The only difference is that there will be no tickets sold and attendance will be cut off at 50%. Please, see the above procedures for social distancing and facial coverings.
