Pre K News - Submitted by: Penny Ramsey
Last week, Pre-K read The Little Red Hen.  We have been reading, discussing and talking about making bread and ways to use bread.  On Friday, to close out The Little Red Hen, Ms. Penny's class made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  Students could choose either grape jelly, strawberry jelly, peanut butter or no peanut butter.  They used their fine motor skills and spread the peanut butter and jelly onto two pieces of bread.  After they finished making their own sandwich, they had their sandwich for snack.  We had a lot of fun.

FFA News - FFA Cookie Dough will arrive on Wednesday, October 21st at 9:00 a.m.  All cookie dough needs to be picked up by 6:00 p.m. due to lack of freezer storage space.

Ram Tough Ag Roundup was held at the Center Livestock Auction Barn on October 17th. The crew from Wright Chrysler Dodge Jeep brought out trucks in the afternoon and later with several people from their sales team. Thank you ASCO Equipment and Billy Scott for speaking on the microphone, helping raise money for the Tenaha High School FFA and also the Timpson FFA.  Timpson FFA members helped serve steak to over 100 agricultural producers from across Shelby County.  Mr. Ty Cauthen Timpson FFA Agricultural Science Teacher and FFA Advisor explained the importance of investing in the youth of Shelby County and value that an agricultural program has on every community.  Timpson FFA members in attendance were Amanda Yates, Chandler Burgay, Molly Sanford, Cutter Smith and Haylon Powers.
