TES Parent Pick Up/ Drop Off - Below is a letter from Timpson Elementary Principal Bubba Carrington regarding parent drop off and parent pick up. Please read carefully. These procedures are put in place to ensure the safety of your child. Thank you for your cooperation in helping the TES staff.

Parents,
Welcome back! We are looking forward to an exciting new year at Timpson Elementary. We would like to take this opportunity to review the procedures that pertain to Parent Drop Off/Parent Pick Up.
This year we will have two people outside from 7:00-7:45. We ask, for safety purposes, that your child not exit your car until TES Staff can assist them. If you plan on walking your child to the building in the morning, please park in the parking area by the baseball field and please walk your child to the parent pick up/cross walk designated area. Starting on August 25th, parents are encouraged to drop off students at parent drop off and the staff will ensure students safely enter the building.
In the afternoon Parent Pick Up kids will be called for at 3:10. We will be issuing name tags for your car with your child’s last name, grade, and teacher on it. We ask that you please place them in a visible location on the front passenger side of your vehicle. We will issue two names tags per family. If you need more please notify the front office. If someone besides you will be picking up your child, please make sure they have the nametag in the vehicle. No students will be released to parents by walking up to the parent pickup area. All car riders must be picked up in the parent pick up line. If your child is a walker he/she will not be released until their class comes out to board the bus. We are making these changes to better ensure the safety of your children.
Please notify the office by noon if your child will be going home a different way in the afternoon or send a note to the teacher. Due to safety concerns, there will be no re-routes of elementary students after 12:00.
If you plan to pick up your child early, please pick them up by 2:45, or they will have to wait until parent pick up at 3:15.
All visitors must sign in at the office and have a visitors pass. No visitors will be allowed down the hallways without a pass. Also, please remember to wait at the office until your child comes to you.
