Centerville took the early lead with an 11-play, 74-yard drive which saw junior fullback Paxton Hancock score on a 2-yard touchdown with 3:53 left in the opening quarter. Jake Pineda added an extra point kick to give CHS an early 7-0 advantage.

Centerville retook the lead at 13-7 with a 9-yard touchdown from junior receiver Zach Taylor with 3:51 left in the second period. The Tigers extra point attempt failed.
