THS Volleyball News
The Lady Bears played a dual match against Ore City and Longview Christian Heritage on Tuesday. The Lady Bears volleyball team lost to Ore City 3-1 and beat Longview Christian Heritage 3-1. Next, they will be in the West Sabine Tournament this Friday and Saturday August 19-20. Congrats and Good Luck Lady Bears.

Lady Bear volleyball players Molly Sanford and Kameron Courtney were selected to the All Tournament team by a committee at the Leverett’s Chapel tournament. We are very proud of them.
Counselor News
Submitted by Charlotte Metcalf - As of August 11, Timpson High School has at least 30 students registered to take dual credit courses in conjunction with Panola College. Students range in grade from sophomore to senior and are taking classes including Speech 1315, English 1301, Human Growth and Development, Medical Terminology, Nutrition and Humanities. Students receive both high school credit and college credit for these classes. Several students are also registered in CNA (Certified Nurse Aide) and welding classes. We look forward to a successful school year and growing the dual credit and certification programs.
