October 15, 2015 - It's the time of year when spending time with family and loved ones, while enjoying great food and giving thanks for the multitude of our blessings is key. It is also a time when those who are barely making ends meet or concerned with how to make them meet, are less likely to experience the joys of the season. This is where Tri-County can HELP be a blessing!
We are donating food boxes to assist with providing dinner on the tables of some families who would otherwise not be able to share in the joys of this blessed season of "thanksgiving”! If you’ve received utility assistance from Tri-County this year, or receive SNAP (formerly the Food Stamp Program), Medicaid, or SSI, you may qualify for the food box. TCCA staff can assist with determining your qualifying eligibility. You must provide “current” proof of the qualifying benefit to participate.
Please come by your local TCCA, Inc. office at 214 Nacogdoches St., Center, TX, room #7 to sign up. You can pick up your box on November 19, 2015 between 10:00 to 3:00 p.m. This will be on a first come, first serve basis.
