TxDOT Project Updates and Schedules for Oct 1-5

October 3, 2018 – TxDOT continues working on many projects in the nine-county Lufkin District. The work planned for next week will require lane closures in many areas. Motorists should always remain alert and reduce speed as they travel through a work zone. All work schedules are subject to change in inclement weather.

“We have some big construction projects going on right now,” said Rhonda Oaks, public information officer. “As the weather begins turning a little cooler, we could also continue to see some wet weather along with the cooler temperatures. We are asking the public to be patient since our work schedules are all dependent upon the weather. We hope to continue to complete these projects without the interruption of bad weather.”
