The Texas University Interscholastic League has outlined rules for the 2022 High School football season.
Beginning August 1, 2022 teams will begin non-contact conditioning drills.
August 6 will be the first day of full contact practices.
August 11 teams will be allowed to scrimmage.
August 18 will be the second scrimmage week.
August 25 will be the third scrimmage for teams not participating in pre-district games on Week 1.
Week 1 games will be on August 25-27. To begin the regular season.
The regular season will conclude with Week 11 November 3-5, 2022.
Playoffs will begin November 10-12 and conclude December 14-17 with the state championships.
