Vote in the Republican Primary - Mark Williams for State Representative, District 11

Vote in the Republican Primary

Mark Williams

for Texas State Representative District 11

OUR ECONOMY, WE NEED JOBS HERE

We have had three power plants basically closed: Pirkey, Sabine Mining, and Martin Lake. Thousands of jobs are gone and have not been replaced. I work in the oil and gas industry, investing and originating drilling prospects. An unstable natural gas market makes for an unfriendly drilling environment. We need natural gas and fired power plants in East Texas.

The Canadian pipeline would only mean temporary jobs for folks across the nation, but I will be representing the new HD 11. We need to drill and sell “OUR” natural gas, so that we can have jobs in East Texas. We don’t need low grade, cheap Canadian gas and oil. Having managed several hundred acres, I  know the timber and cattle business. We need lumber mills and a large scale packing plant in East Texas.

FREEZE ALL PROPERTY TAX VALUES AND RATES

Ever increasing property taxes are a problem and does not seen to have an end. All home and property owners should come together here. With costs increasing in retail, feed, fertilizer and lumber, we must adopt new solutions and freeze all property tax values and rates. Ownership is a large part of freedom, and something the Socialists and Democrats would like to take away. They want your MONEY, GUNS, and your PROPERTY.

“WE THE PEOPLE” IN EAST TEXAS CAN DO THIS

I have been talking in the community for nearly three years, and would rather be on the offense instead of the defense. We need to come together and be ready to repel an over reaching government. Our leaders are elected by you and me. Not the federal government, and not the state government. “We the People” of East Texas can lead now. The Constitution states that government powers are derived from the consent of the governed, when any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it.

“It is absolutely necessary that our locally elected officials are dedicated primarily to us and the constitutional rights of the United States and the state constitution. Our Liberty and freedom are all at stake.”

 “CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIAN”

I am a life-long Catttleman, raising and selling Charolais Bulls, working and tending my own operation. I’ve manage several hundred acres of family Timberland; worked in the family Oil and Gas Leasing Business. Also investing in drilling.

I have spent approximately $21,000 on my campaign so far; $17,000 was donated, 5 of which was from my Mother and 2 from a cousin. The other 10 was from one individual within my District. So far, I’ve spent a little over $4,000 in personal funds.
